Mauldin High seniors Olivia Marie Baddley, daughter of Janice and Scot Baddley of Simpsonville and valedictorian Kathryn Briana Jones, daughter of Ann Marie and John Jones of Simpsonville, have been named semifinalists for the National Beta Club Scholarship, the school announced.
They competed against over 600 students across the country and were the only two students from Greenville County named semifinalists.
The National Beta Club Scholarship Program offers over $260,000 in scholarships to outstanding Beta Club members in their senior year. Over 220 scholarships are awarded each year. They range in value from $1,000 to $15,000.
