The free credit monitoring program that was put in place because of the security breach of Department of Revenue records ends tomorrow.

Individuals who would like to receive one free year of credit monitoring from Experion can enroll by visiting www.protectmyid.com/scdor and entering the code “SCDOR123” or by calling 1-866-578-5422

Today and tomorrow operators will be available from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Businesses can receive protection from Dun & Bradstreet Credibility Corp via its CreditAlert product that will alert customers to changes taking place in their business credit file.

Businesses can visit http://www.dandb.com/sc/ or call 1-800-279-9881.

Businesses also have the option of using Experian’s Business Credit AdvantageSM which is a self-monitoring service that allows for unlimited access to a company’s business credit report and score.

Business owners should visit http://www.smartbusinessreports.com/SouthCarolina for more information.

Approximately 3.8 million Social Security numbers, 387,000 credit and debit card numbers and 657,000 business tax filings were exposed in the breach which became public last fall.
