Mauldin Police are looking for a Greenville man who allegedly assaulted and injured the mother of his child, a police incident report said.
The suspect, identified as 22-year-old Dominic Tobias Anderson, is accused of confronting his wife at a house on Vesper Circle in Mauldin over something he found on her cell phone, the report said.
The woman alleged that Anderson came into the house and began yelling at her, then grabbed her by the throat and began punching her in the face, the report said.
The victim said she tried to flee with her child, but was accosted again outside, with the suspect once again grabbing her and punching her in the face, the report said.
Once the woman managed to free herself, she began calling Mauldin Police, prompting the man to flee the area on foot.
The report said the woman sustained bruising and a cut lip in the altercation. Mauldin Police said they would be issuing a warrant against Anderson for criminal domestic violence, the report said.
