Simpsonville Labor Day Festival Kicks Off Saturday

Thousands of people are expected to flock to downtown Simpsonville this weekend as the town kicks off the 38th Annual Labor Day Family Fun Festival.

The festival, which takes place on Main Street, will begin Saturday and run through Monday evening.

The festival is one of the area's largest Labor Day events, with a whole host of entertainment, from music to carnival rides, not to mention shopping at the event's numerous vendor tents -- and of course, lots of food.

Here is the schedule:

Saturday, Sept. 1 — 4 p.m. to 9 p.m.

-Carnival Rides Only (Ride tix available on site)

Sunday, Sept. 2 — 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.

-“Touch a Truck” on Main Street: Noon – 4pm

-Community Shred-it Event at College and Main Streets: Noon – 3pm (Free) *Shred-it Greenville will shred up to 3 full bags/ boxes (boxes must have tops, no loose paper or torn bags). School supply donations will be accepted. 

-Carnival Rides 

-Hillcrest Memorial Hospital Toddler Town:($1 Admission) Includes Petting Zoo: 12- 5pm, Pony Rides: Additional charge 

-Free Music:  12-2 p.m. The Hibrydz; 3-5 p.m. The Barley Boyz; 6-8 p.m. InnFusion 

Monday, September — 10 a.m. - 6 p.m.

-Antique and Classic Car Cruise-In: 10 am – 4pm ($1 Viewer Admission) 

-Farmers Market: 8 am – 1 pm

-Lowe’s Build and Grow Kid’s Clinic: for the first 300 kids in Toddler Town

-Carnival Rides

-Hillcrest Memorial Toddler Town: 10am – 6pm
($1 Admission) Includes Petting Zoo: 12 – 5pm, Pony Rides: Additional charge 

-Local Entertainment 

-Walgreens Cornhole Tournament: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. ($20 team, $10 Individual registrations) Register by sending your name, email address, and mobile number to amcgarity@simpsonvillechamber.com
