An Upstate Special Forces Soldier was killed last week during a training exercise in Arizona.
Sgt. 1st Class Bradley Keys, 33, of Inman, died Dec. 13 from injuries sustained during a military free fall training event in Eloy, Ariz., according to a news release from the U.S. Army Special Forces Command.
Keys was assigned to United States Army Special Forces Command (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, N.C. He was a Special Forces Engineer Sergeant.
He has been deployed two times in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.
Keys is survived by his wife, son and parents.
