2nd prize will be one Discovery Flight Lesson which includes 45 minutes of ground instruction and a 45 minute flight. Valued at $149!
"A pilot's license can help your non-aviation business, literally, takeoff!" stated Michele Rash, Owner of Airwolf Aviation Services. "Many of our students are business people who see the need to expand their business using aviation. This is a concept that many other people haven't really considered. Educate yourself on the power of flight and help your business reach new heights," Rash said. "Other people learn for a hobby or to become a career pilot. Either way the sky won't be your limit when you learn to fly," added Rash.
"Our industry foresees a future shortage of trained pilots," stated Hank Brown, Owner of Greenville Jet Center. "This contest is one way that we can help make a difference. It may bring us one new pilot and it may also inspire others to learn. I have been in aviation for 54 years. I was introduced to it and never left. I would like to inspire others to pursue the miracle of flight," stated Brown. The aviation industry forecasts that there is going to be a huge shortage of pilots in the future, partially because of all the former military pilots who are scheduled to retire.
