Sales: Black Friday Shopping

Let the games begin. Black Friday is like Christmas Day for those with a talent for shopping, and the Friday festivities begin early this year, as many stores open as early as Thursday night. Take a look at some of the deals and hours at local shopping hot spots, and if you see or hear of any other great bargains, let us know in the comments section! 

- Rack Room Shoes, located at Haywood Mall and at 357 Harrison Bridge Road in Simpsonville, is offering a free gift to the first 50 customers who make a purchase (gift include free shoes for a year, two-minute shopping spree and promotional gift cards). Rack Room opens at midnight Friday. 

- Belk, located at Haywood Mall, 805 West Wade Hampton Blvd. in Greer and 665 Fairview Road in Simpsonville, will all open at midnight Friday, with discounts as high at 55 percent off women's sportswear, up to 60 percent off Sperry shoes and up to 75 percent off of select jewelry. 

- Wal-Mart, located at 3027 Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors and 3950 Grandview Drive in Simpsonville, will hold multiple special holiday sales events; At 8 p.m. Thursday, Wii consoles will be on sale for only $89, select Barbie dolls for only $5 and Paula Deen 23-piece non-stick cookware set for only $99; At 10 p.m. Thursday, Nikon D3000 digital cameras/lens kit will be on sale for only $449, JVC Everio HD camcorder on sale for $119 and Nook Color tablet for $99; At 5 a.m. Friday, men's bicycles will be on sale for $99, Spinbrush toothbrushes for $5 and a Stanley 6-Drawer Rolling Tool Cabinet with 85-piece tool set for $99. 

- Old Navy, located at Cherrydale Point in Greenville and 1117 Woodruff Road, open at midnight Friday will hold multiple sales events; From midnight Friday to 4 a.m., adult jeans will be on sale for $15, fleece half-zips for $5 and boots for $12; From 4 a.m. to 8 a.m., children's coats will be on sale for $15 and adult coats for $19, Sherpa hoodies for $15 and a Disney-Pixar DVD with accompanying t-shirt for $15; All day Saturday, pajamas will be on sale for $8 and graphic t-shirts for $5.

- Target, located at 1112 Woodruff Road, 6025 Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors and 694 Fairview Road in Simpsonville, opens at 9 p.m. Thursday. Sales include: Nook Simple Touch E-Reader for $49, DVD's for $4, select board games for $7, kids scooters for $19 and Rachael Ray 14-piece non-stick cook sets for $99. 

- K-Mart, located at 2100 Wade Hampton Boulevard in Taylors and 129 West Butler Avenue in Mauldin, starts its Black Friday sales at 8 p.m. Thursday, through 3 a.m. Friday. Select Barbies are on sale for $2.99, and all footwear in the store is buy one-get one free. From 5 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, a Kenmore washer and dryer set will be on sale for $499, and a 19-inch pro-scan HD TV will be on sale for $88.
